Garrison Woods Inc. is a family managed company, incorporated in the state of New York in 1985. During this time, Garrison Woods has provided high quality building, remodeling and craftsmanship services principally to the residential market in the surrounding area of its office location in Garrison, New York, including Westchester and Putnam counties. Its basic operating philosophy is, that since it is managed by a close knit family, which operates very effectively as a team, it can provide high quality services, such as work ethic, cleanliness and honesty which can significantly enhance the lifestyles of its customers as well as their homes. Garrison Woods’ two head construction foremen have been effectively working for the company in excess of twenty years and have grown up in the surrounding community and understand what it takes to make the customer happy. Joseph Hard is one of the lead foremen and has been working for Garrison Woods since the late 1980’s and also grew up in Garrison, attending Garrison school and later James I. Oneill High School. Eric Warren has also been working and contributing to the company’s success for the past twenty plus years and like Joe, he also grew up in the community. Garrison Woods’ employees whom operate with the upmost honesty and work ethic along with being a clean and healthy company enable its clients to relax and not worry during their home’s transformation.

Over thousands of projects, including having some works portrayed and published in reputed magazines such as “House Beautiful”, and an extensive remodeling project at “Crescent Ridge” along the Hudson River that has been also featured in House Beautiful magazine. The company has established itself firmly in it’s marketplace and enjoys an excellent reputation of providing high quality building and remodeling services.

Robert Freeman 

Robert has been with the Company since its inception in 1984. Prior to this, he started his career in carpentry by working for the Carpenter Union in residential construction before deciding it would be more rewarding to establish and be personally involved in the formation of a family business. Robert’s expertise and experience has increased greatly over the past twenty-seven years and has led to his being President of the Company. He has led Garrison Woods through the completion of several “design and build”, new home construction as well as countless home renovations, some with contract prices in excess of millions of dollars and others for low thousands of dollars.

Robert is married and the father of four children. His wife Susan and his family comes first on his priority list, but Robert’s main goal is to provide for and support his family by expanding the production of Garrison Woods and enhance the lifestyles of its clients.

Bill Freeman 

Bill’s expertise and long-standing involvement in the construction industry was the nucleus and backbone that was needed to initiate Garrison Woods. Bill started in the business in the early 1950’s when he helped put an addition on Maryknoll Seminary in Ossining. He was recruited to join a roofing contractor as an estimator and went on to become the President of the company as well as President of several trade associations. Bill’s reputation as a reliable contractor has stayed with him enabling Garrison Woods to initialize accounts with suppliers, sub-contractors and new clients. Bill still serves the company diligently as a consultant and estimating and the experience and vast knowledge of the company is valued greatly by Robert.
